This job may require performing tasks such as unloading containers, picking orders, working as a shipping divert operator, and undertaking other warehouse responsibilities. To succeed in this position, the individual must be capable of satisfactorily executing each essential duty. The requirements outlined below are representative of the knowledge, expertise, and/or skills required.

• Skill in adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing within various measurement systems, with the benefit of a calculator if necessary
• Properly load and unload shipments while relocating goods to designated areas or containers.
• Enhance efficiency by properly stacking and storing the merchandise in the relevant sections.
• Select and prepare orders for shipment proficiently, making certain that the accurate types and quantities of products are included.
• Place the boxes onto the pallet or slide them onto the conveyor belt's track
• Use pick labels to gather freight from pallets
• Assemble stacked pallets carrying merchandise redirected from shipping lanes
• Build pallets
• Shrink wrap pallets
• Shift pallets by operating a pallet jack
• Carrying out supplementary tasks as designated and assisting various departments as requested
• Utilize RF Gun for tasks such as picking, receiving, put-away, replenishments, and load functions as needed.
• Ensure that the facility's machinery and supplies are tidy and arranged properly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
• Forklift / Pallet Rider / Manual Pallet Jack experience helpful
• Ability to operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work an alternate shift for an extended period of time with limited notice.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift and perform manual dexterity.
• Lift up to 50-pound boxes, remain on feet for entire shift.
• Ability to ascend staircases and perform standing work on an elevated platform.
• Ability to work while being exposed to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
