The role may involve carrying out responsibilities like unloading containers, selecting orders, functioning as a shipping divert worker, and fulfilling various warehouse positions. Effectively carrying out each essential duty is crucial for success in this job. The qualifications provided below reflect the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities for this role.

• Ability to execute basic mathematical operations across different units of measurement, with the availability of using a calculator for convenience
• Safely handle the movement of shipments by loading and unloading products and transferring them to assigned locations or vessels.
• Optimize the storage space by stacking and storing the goods effectively in their designated locations.
• Swiftly pull items from inventory to prepare orders for transport, validating that the precise number and types of products are chosen.
• Secure the boxes onto the pallet or place them onto the conveyor belt for transfer
• Select freight from pallets by following pick labels
• Pile pallets with items originating from diverted shipping routes
• Build pallets
• Shrink wrap pallets
• Use a pallet jack to maneuver pallets
• Fulfilling extra responsibilities as required and aiding other departments as necessary
• Employ RF Gun for picking, receiving, put-away, replenishments, and loading operations according to the task at hand.
• Preserve the order and cleanliness of the facility's tools and resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions
• Forklift / Pallet Rider / Manual Pallet Jack experience helpful
• Ability to operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
• Ability to work flexible hours and work an alternate shift for an extended period of time with limited notice.
• Ability to stand, stoop, lift and perform manual dexterity.
• Lift up to 50-pound boxes, remain on feet for entire shift.
• Ability to ascend staircases and perform standing work on an elevated platform.
• Ability to work while being exposed to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
• Warehouse: 1 year (Preferred)
